Welcome to Cherie Ranfranz's, My Mosaics and More web site! I was introduced to mosaics a few years ago when I visited a wonderful store, Mosaic on a Stick (www.mosaiconastick.com), after reading an article featuring the store in that morning's paper. That visit so excited and inspired me that I registered for a class beginning the very next day. I fell in love with the art form, the owners of the store and so many people I have met through my pursuit of creating mosaics.

In May 2008 my husband and I moved to Cameron, Wisconsin. I have a large space dedicated as my studio. While I miss my friends at Mosaic on a Stick, the move to Wisconsin has been a wonderful opportunity for both myself and my husband.

I've been working on some new mosaics, glass fusing and recently started needle felting! I'll be adding new pieces to each category as I complete them.

This is probably one of my favorite and biggest undertakings in my mosaic experience. I created this mirror as a gift for Risdall Advertising Agency and it is on display in the lobby of the agency in New Brighton, Minnesota. The piece is approximately 22” x 22” inches. The blues and greens are glass, colored mirror, glass rods, bisazza, sicis, glitter and other glass tiles. The entire piece is grouted with Midnight Blue.
