About Cherie Ranfranz Mosaics
I was introduced to mosaics a few years ago when I visited a wonderful store, Mosaic on a Stick (www.mosaiconastick.com), after reading an article featuring the store in that morning's paper. That visit so excited and inspired me that I registered for a class beginning the very next day. I fell in love with the art form, the owners of the store and so many people I have met through my pursuit of creating mosaics. I'm even lucky enough to be a part-time employee at Mosaic on a Stick.
Also on this site you will find I have a few other artistic interests including work in Precious Metal Clay (PMC) jewelry, fused glass and polymer clay. I've experimented in a lot of different media and really have enjoyed them all.
My husband, daughter and I live in Shoreview, Minnesota along with our dog and two cats. I'm also a Private Pilot, PADI certified scuba diver, five time marathon runner and research/field assistant for the Missing Air Crew project.
