Custom Mosaic Names
This piece was created as a gift for my daughter. It measures approximately 18” by 8” and hangs above her bedroom door. Each letter is a different color and the border and flowers are in bright colorful tile. I used some gems and specialty tiles too. The background is white (each individual letter is grouted in a grout to match) the background is grouted white and really makes the letters stand out! Similar pieces could be created using any name and themed for either boy or girl, young or old. A keepsake that will last for years. Contact me for more information at

Custom Mosaic House Numbers
Custom mosaic house numbers are a great way to add art to the outside of your house. The numbers can be vertical or horizontal and the shape of the piece and be square, round, oval, rectangle…..just about any shape you like. Colors and match your house or add contrast or pick your favorite colors. Like flowers, fish, pine trees, just about anything can be incorporated to make your house numbers unique! I use only materials that can handle the outdoor elements and extreme temperature changes we enjoy here in Minnesota (or any where else!) A great gift idea for the new homeowners or newlyweds! "John's Plane" (Custom Mosaic B-24 in Airplane Metal Frame)
Description: This piece was inspired by my husband’s search for his uncle’s B-24 which was lost near Yap Island during WWII. (See
www.missingaircrew.com) The airplane, a B-24 Liberator, is unglazed porcelain tiles and the water stained glass and mirror. The frame was custom made by our good friend and aircraft restorer, Mike Rawson of Rawson Restorations. Contact me for more information at

"Bejeweled Bedazzled Butterfly"
Cherie created her butterfly mosaic for an upcoming show at the studio. She selected a butterfly since culturally they are a popular motif in the visual and literary arts. The diverse patterns formed by their brightly colored wings and their erratic yet graceful flight have make butterflies a perfect choice for a mosaic. Contact me for more information at
